The Fullbrook Center’s Founders

Jessica and Josh Slay are the proud founders of The Fullbrook Center. Though they started this journey together, they have each traveled a unique, impactful path to their current destination.

About Jessica Slay

Jessica Slay grew up in the small town of Belton, Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree at Texas State University and then pursued a master’s degree in clinical psychology. Upon finishing her education, she used her license as a therapist to work with at-risk youth aging out of foster care and was a professor of psychology courses at a community college.

In 2012, Jessica moved to Dallas, Texas and accepted the position of Clinical Director for an outpatient mental health facility that served the indigent population. In 2016, Jessica chose to begin her own business venture in private practice. She specialized in young women with addiction, mental health and/or trauma.

Within the industry of addiction and mental health, Jessica met her husband, Josh, in 2017. At the time, he was the CEO of a men’s substance abuse facility. In 2020, Jessica and Josh decided to take a leap of faith and open their own treatment facility in Fredericksburg, Texas.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys staying active, spending quality time with close friends and family, and continuing to build a life with her husband. Their life in the hill country is more fulfilling than ever expected, and they look forward to many years here.
